Minimally Invasive Surgery

Unlike open surgery, minimally invasive procedures involve making several small incisions, typically spread over a wide area. Komax Light incorporates an innovative bionic "compound eye structure" lens design, offering an expansive 60cm light field. This wide coverage effectively illuminates the entire chest and abdomen, eliminating the need for frequent adjustments of the light head during surgery.

With high light intensity and large spot size, 1200mm depth of field provides good lighting without having to refocus when the surgical wound location changes. The light head can be positioned far away from the wound to ensure better laminar flow.
